NEW DELHI: The uncertainty surrounding Pakistan's participation in the much-anticipated ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 has ended as India finally granted visas to the International Cricket Council (ICC) said on Monday. Pakistani team.

PCB spokesman Umar Farooq confirmed to Reuters that they had been asked to obtain passports from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. Earlier in a strong statement, Farooq had criticized the "unfair treatment" of a Pakistani team, scheduled to arrive in India on Wednesday.
“There was a significant delay in the issuance of Indian permits and visas to the Pakistani team for the ICC World Cup,” Farooq said in the statement.
“We have written to the ICC to raise our concerns about the unfair treatment of Pakistan and remind them of their obligations towards the World Cup.
“It is disappointing that the Pakistan team has to go through unrest ahead of the major tournament.”
Pakistan will play two warm-up matches before starting their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 1. 6.
